About

Lingent is an AI agent that lives in your browser. Instead of copy-pasting between a chatbot and your real work, you talk to Lingent in a side panel and it acts — reading the page, filling forms, clicking through tasks, and delegating to the tools you already use.

WHAT IT DOES

• Chat that acts — Ask in plain language. Lingent reasons about the goal, then uses browser tools to get it done on the current tab.

• Browser automation — Reads page content, clicks, types, selects, scrolls, navigates, and captures screenshots so it can complete real multi-step tasks.

• Multi-agent orchestration — Delegates work to platform-specific agents (GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Azure, SharePoint, and more), each of which knows how to operate its own tool.

• Right-click actions — Select text on any page and summarize, translate, explain, or run a custom action.

• Form prefill — Reads any form and proposes values drawn from your context and chat history, so long forms fill in seconds.

• Workflows — Chain steps into reusable multi-step templates.

• Scheduler — Run tasks automatically on a schedule, on a trigger, or once.

• Long-term memory — Remembers your preferences and past findings across sessions, with a clear "What I remember" view you control.

• Browser resource tools — Works with bookmarks, history, downloads, recently-closed tabs, tab groups, and windows.

• User-defined platforms — Connect your own internal tools via OpenAPI, MCP, or a content script.

• Permission on demand — Lingent asks for each sensitive Chrome permission the first time a task actually needs it, with a clear in-chat prompt. You can revoke any permission at chrome://extensions at any time.

• You stay in control — Sensitive actions surface an approval step before they run. Every agent run is recorded with its goal, steps, and results.

• Bring your own model — Configure your own AI provider and key. Everything is visible and editable in Settings — no hidden behavior.
