Priv WhatsApp Web is a premium, lightweight privacy utility designed to secure your WhatsApp Web screen from prying eyes in public spaces, offices, or shared spaces. 

The extension automatically blurs your chat messages, sidebar preview messages, group/usernames, profile pictures, media previews, and text input areas. Blurred elements are instantly revealed with a smooth hover effect only when you move your mouse cursor over them.

1. HOVER-TO-REVEAL PRIVACY BLUR
All sensitive details on your screen (messages, contact names, profile photos, and media previews) are blurred out. Hover your mouse to temporarily read or see them.

2. SECURE APP LOCK / SCREEN LOCK
Protect your active WhatsApp Web session when you leave your desk. 
- Set a local password and configure an automatic idle timeout (in seconds).
- Instantly lock your screen using the "Lock Now" button or the Alt+L shortcut.
- Security persists even if the page is refreshed.

3. FOCUS LOSS AUTO-BLUR
Instantly blurs and darkens your WhatsApp Web tab the millisecond you switch to another browser tab or focus on another desktop application.

4. GLOBAL KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

This extension runs entirely on your local browser. It does NOT track, collect, or transmit any personal data, messages, or credentials. Your screen lock password is encrypted and stored locally using Chrome's secure local storage API.
