AI Image Detector Pro is a transparency-first verification tool designed to help you navigate the modern web by identifying AI-generated media.

As AI generators like Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, and  Firefly become increasingly realistic, it is harder than ever to tell what is real. This extension provides an honest, evidence-based probability score using a robust, multi-signal analysis process.

🔍 How to use (Steps to check functionality):

1.Install the extension and pin it to your browser toolbar.

2. (Optional but recommended) Click the extension icon to open the popup, and enter your free Sightengine API key to unlock advanced visual analysis.

3. Right-click on any image on a webpage.

4. Select "Check if AI-generated" from the context menu.

5. Click the extension icon to view your detailed probability breakdown!

⚡ Works Without an API Key!
Don't have an API key yet? No problem! The extension will still function completely offline by scanning the image's invisible C2PA and EXIF metadata for known AI signatures (like those left by major AI generators). Adding an API key simply unlocks the secondary, pixel-level heuristic analysis for a more comprehensive score.

How the scoring works:

Local Metadata & C2PA Scanning: Instantly scans invisible EXIF and XMP data for content credentials and known AI signatures.

Visual Heuristic API Pass: Securely analyzes the image using Sightengine's advanced computer vision models to look for pixel-level anomalies and GAN artifacts.

Transparent Scoring: We provide a combined probability score capped at 99%. Because metadata can be stripped and compression alters pixels, no tool is 100% perfect. We show you the exact signals we find so you can make an informed decision.
