FocusShare combines two powerful tools into one lightweight Chrome extension.

📊 SMART TIME TRACKING

Automatically tracks how much active time you spend on every website — second by second, without any manual input.

• Productive sites (coding tools, documentation, project management) are highlighted in green
• Distracting sites (social media, video streaming, entertainment) are highlighted in orange
• Fully customizable — add or remove any domain from either category
• Tracking pauses automatically when your screen is idle or the window loses focus
• Daily stats reset at midnight — see exactly how today went
• All data is stored locally on your device — nothing is sent to external servers

Today's dashboard shows:
• % of time spent productively
• % of time on distracting sites
• Total active browsing time
• Top 10 domains with visual progress bars


✨ HIGHLIGHT & SHARE

Select any text on any website. A small popup appears right next to your selection:

→ Slack — sends the highlighted text, page URL, and title as a formatted message to your Slack channel via Incoming Webhook

→ Notion — creates a new entry in your Notion database with the highlighted text, URL, and page title

All saved highlights are accessible in the Highlights tab, where you can re-share them at any time.


🔒 PRIVACY FIRST

• Zero telemetry — the developer never receives any data
• All browsing stats are stored locally in your browser
• API keys are stored in Chrome's encrypted sync storage
• Data only leaves your browser when you explicitly click Share


⚙️ SETUP IN 2 MINUTES

1. Install FocusShare
2. Open Settings (gear icon in the popup)
3. Paste your Slack Webhook URL and/or Notion Integration Token + Database ID
4. Start browsing — time tracking begins immediately
