Live matches are highlighted with a glowing red indicator and active clocks. Scores, periods, and tickers update dynamically so you always know what is happening, second by second.

2. Personalized "My Teams" Pinned Filter
Never search through leagues to find your favorites.

Click the star icon (★) next to any team name (e.g. Real Madrid, Golden State Warriors, Australia National Cricket Team, or Lewis Hamilton) to bookmark them.
Click the green ★ My Teams button at the top header to instantly filter the list and show only matches involving your pinned teams.
Pinned teams are synced locally so your dashboard remains configured across browser sessions.
3. Period-by-Period Breakdown
Click on any active or completed match card to slide up the Interactive Match Details Sheet. View a complete period-by-period linescore grid (quarters for basketball/NFL, periods for NHL, halves for soccer, and innings for cricket/baseball).

4. Team Statistics & Leaders
Wondering who is dominating the game? The details drawer displays:

Key Matchup Stats: Check yards gained, turnovers, field percentages, strike metrics, and possession.
Game Leaders: Displays top performers from both teams, including player names, photos, jerseys, positions, and live stat lines.
5. Local Date Tab Selector
Yesterday: Review finished matches, final scores, and summaries from yesterday's games.
Today: See matches happening today, divided into active matches (Live Now), scheduled games (Later Today), and finished matches (Final).
Upcoming: Look ahead at upcoming match schedules (grouped chronologically) so you can plan your viewing calendar.
6. Live Extension Badge Alert
When your favorited/pinned teams are playing live, a clean red badge displays on the toolbar icon showing LIVE, keeping you informed even when the popup dashboard is closed.

💻 How to Use Matchday
Install the Extension: Download and add Matchday to Google Chrome.
Pin to Toolbar: Click the extensions jigsaw puzzle piece in your browser toolbar and pin Matchday so its icon is always visible.
Open the Dashboard: Click the extension icon. The dashboard will instantly load today's scores.
Filter & Navigate:
Click sports chips (e.g. Tennis, F1, UFC) at the top to filter matches by sport.
Switch between Yesterday, Today, and Upcoming tabs at the top of the window to change the active date.
Star teams to save them, then click My Teams to isolate your favorites.
View Game Summaries: Click any match card to open the slide-up modal with detailed statistics, team comparisons, broadcaster names, venue locations, and player leaders.
🔒 Privacy Policy & Security Standard
Zero Trackers: Matchday does not inject third-party scripts, read your browsing history, track your cookies, or gather search queries.
Direct Network Access: The extension calls ESPN's public endpoints directly from your browser to pull scores. No intermediate servers store or inspect your traffic.
Permissions Used:
