Deep Shadow breaks captioned video into natural phrases. For each phrase, it plays the original, cues you to repeat it, records your voice, then plays the original and your take back to back. Hear the difference, repeat until the rhythm feels right, then move on.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Practice with captioned English videos on YouTube™
• Train rhythm, stress, linking, and intonation
• Slow each phrase from 1× to 0.5×, then finish at natural speed
• Repeat with Space and advance with Right Arrow
• Hide the video in Focus mode and train by ear
• Switch to Watch mode and resume normal playback anytime

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your microphone is used only while you repeat a phrase. Recordings stay in memory on your device, are played back for comparison, and are then discarded. Deep Shadow has no accounts, analytics, ads, cloud uploads, or saved voice history.

• Desktop Chrome 114 or later
• A YouTube™ video with English subtitles or closed captions
• A microphone; headphones are recommended
