SlotOwl is a free Chrome extension that watches government appointment portals from inside your own browser session and alerts you the second a slot opens — by desktop notification, email, or push notification on any device you've paired.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in once with Google.
2. Open the appointment portal you care about.
3. Hit "Start" — SlotOwl polls the page every couple of minutes from your own logged-in session.
4. The instant a slot appears, you get an alert and the extension auto-pauses so you can claim it.

ALERT CHANNELS
• Desktop notification (always on)
• Email (Resend-backed, no spam)
• Cross-device push (scan a QR with your phone or tablet)

PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN
• No headless scraping. No proxy IPs. No bots pretending to be you.
• Polling happens in your own Chrome tab, in your own session.
• We never see your portal cookies, your form fields, or your appointment details.
• The only thing the backend stores is the workflow you defined and a tiny "available / not available" status used to fan out alerts.
• Optional alert-time screenshot (your trigger, your choice) is private to you and auto-deleted after a short retention window.
