About

ReelCapture is a face-cam teleprompter for recording Instagram Reels and other
short-form video. Upload a script with six beats (or use a bundled sample),
pick your aspect ratio, and read your lines while ReelCapture handles cue
cards, karaoke-style highlighting, and optional background blur — entirely
in your browser.

- Pause and resume recording mid-take with a single keystroke
- Person-aware background: blur, solid color, or image, powered by
  MediaPipe Selfie Segmentation running locally in your browser
- Live audio controls: noise suppression, echo cancellation, and
  auto-gain control toggles with live status of what the browser applied
- Adjustable cue font size (22–64px) and line height (1.00–1.80)

LOCAL-ONLY BY DESIGN

Your camera stream, microphone audio, and script text never leave your
machine. The extension makes no network requests. The recorded .webm
downloads directly to your Downloads folder. No accounts, no cloud, no
telemetry, no analytics.
