Snipe by CHOIL puts live market value on screen while you shop for knives and EDC. On a Whatnot live auction it reads the current lot the second it starts; on an eBay item page it reads the listing; and on any other page, you right-click to check the item you're looking at — so you're never guessing what something is actually worth.

WHERE IT WORKS
• Whatnot live auctions — the value card is one tap away as lots change, with a real-time deal meter against the current bid.
• eBay item pages — see an item's market value right on the listing.
• Anywhere else — select an item's name (or right-click the page) and choose "Snipe value" to value it on the spot. Snipe only touches that page when you ask.

WHAT YOU GET
• Instant value card — CHOIL's median, typical low–high range, and sample size for the item in front of you.
• Deal meter (Whatnot) — once you've checked a lot, it compares the live bid to market value in real time: green (steal), yellow (fair), red (over market). Updates as the bid climbs, with no lag.
• Identify from video (Whatnot) — for vaguely-titled lots, one click captures the current frame and identifies the knife using CHOIL's photo recognition, then prices it.

HOW IT WORKS
Snipe runs entirely in your own browser, on the items you're already shopping. On Whatnot and eBay it reads the on-screen item title (and, on Whatnot, the current bid) to look up a value from CHOIL. On any other site it does nothing until you invoke it from the right-click menu — then, and only then, it reads the item you pointed at. It never bids for you, never takes any action on your behalf, and never monitors or scrapes pages in the background. Video frames are captured only when YOU click "Identify from video," and they're processed in the moment — not stored.
