About

ImgPeek shows a full-resolution preview of any image you hover over — no clicks, no waiting. It resolves srcset, <picture> sources, common data-* lazy-load attributes, and CSS background-image, so it finds the highest-res variant a page actually has access to. For seventeen common sites, it rewrites thumbnail URLs into their full-size originals.

KEYBOARD CONTROL WHILE PREVIEWING

• +/- or Ctrl+wheel — zoom in / out
• 0 — reset zoom
• D — download original full-resolution
• Shift+D — download at the current preview size
• C — copy image to clipboard
• O — open the image in a new tab
• I — toggle EXIF panel (camera, lens, ISO, GPS — opt-in)
• Space or middle-click — pin the preview (drag to pan)
• Shift+drag (when pinned) — drag the image out to desktop or another app
• Arrow keys — step through neighbouring images in galleries
• Esc — close

Global hotkey Alt+Shift+P toggles ImgPeek on/off (rebindable).

RIGHT-CLICK REVERSE IMAGE SEARCH

ImgPeek adds a context-menu submenu to send any image to your favorite reverse image lookup service.

CUSTOM URL TRANSFORMS

Paste a JSON array of regex rules into the options popup to add your own CDN/thumbnail rewrites. User rules override the built-in ones, so you can shadow any site-specific behaviour.

PRIVACY

ImgPeek does not track you, does not contain analytics, and makes no network requests other than fetching the image URLs you are already viewing in your browser. All settings live in your browser's own synced storage; nothing is sent to any third party.
