About
Stop scroll-hunting. Jump instantly. Long ChatGPT/Gemini threads get messy fast: you lose your place, forget where a key prompt was, and waste minutes scrolling. SideJump turns the right edge into a micro table-of-contents—ultra-compact markers aligned to your prompts. Click any marker to jump straight to the start of that prompt. What you get One-click navigation (to Prompt Start) Jump to the exact prompt you need—always to the top, not the middle. High-density, low-distraction UI 16px micro markers at 40% opacity by default; hover to brighten and slightly enlarge for easy clicking. Editable labels (right-click) Right-click a marker to rename it (e.g., “Debug”, “Code”, “Search”) and color-code it (6 preset colors). Once customized, your label & color override the default numbering and green/blue alternation. Private by design Runs entirely on your device. Label metadata is stored locally in chrome.storage.local. No accounts. No analytics. No ads. Works where you work Supports ChatGPT and Gemini web chat. Who this is for Developers navigating long debug threads and code iterations Researchers/students tracking multi-step reasoning and experiments Power users (support/product/analysts) living in deep, iterative chats New-user tip (only once) A lightweight toast appears on first use to show that right-click edits labels—then it disappears automatically and won’t keep popping up.
