Clean Print turns any messy web page into a clean, readable document you can print or save as a perfect PDF, with one click, 100% on your device.

No account. No servers. No AI. No tracking. Clean Print does all of its work locally inside your browser and never makes a single network request, so the page you are reading never leaves your machine. That is the whole point, a private, local alternative to cloud print-cleaning tools that upload your pages to their servers.

WHAT IT DOES
• One-click declutter. Click the toolbar button and Clean Print isolates the real article, stripping ads, navigation, sidebars, pop-ups, comments, and clutter, using Mozilla's open-source Readability engine bundled right in the extension.
• Fix anything by hand. If a stray element survives, switch on Remove elements and click it away. A deterministic safety net means you are never stuck with a bad auto-guess.
• Tune the output. Adjust font size, toggle images off for ink-saving prints, break sections onto new pages, or switch to a sepia reading theme.
• Print or save a clean PDF. Hand off to Chrome's native print and Save-as-PDF dialog. Pages paginate cleanly, images and tables never get cut in half.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Clean Print requests no host permissions at install, it only reads a page when you click the button, via activeTab. Readability and DOMPurify are bundled, nothing is fetched at runtime. Your settings stay in local storage on your machine.
