FocusBlock adds a moment of friction before distracting sites can pull you in.

Choose the sites you want to slow down. When you open one, FocusBlock shows a local countdown overlay that gives you time to decide whether to continue, snooze, or go back to what you meant to do.

Privacy:

FocusBlock stores settings locally in your browser. It does not collect analytics, create an account, or send browsing data to a server.

Permissions:

- All sites / host access: needed to detect user-defined blocked sites and show the local overlay on matching pages
- Storage: saves blocked sites, schedules, snooze state, and settings locally
- Tabs / activeTab / webNavigation: detects navigation and updates focus state
- Context menus, alarms, notifications: powers local controls and reminders
