  VidGet is a lightweight, privacy-first web video downloader.
  
  It detects standard streaming formats (m3u8 / HLS, mpd / DASH, mp4, m4s segments) on web pages, then locally muxes them
  into a single mp4 file via the built-in ffmpeg.wasm engine.
  
  ▍ Sites with deep-tuned support
  - Bilibili (bilibili.com): HD-quality download with optional login cookie
  - iyf.tv: HLS sniffing with signed-URL auto-refresh
  
  ▍ Generic streaming detector
  For any other website using standard m3u8 / mpd / mp4 streaming protocols, the built-in generic detector may also pick up
  the stream. Success depends on the site's content protection mechanism (signed URLs, segment encryption, custom CDN
  headers, etc.).
  
  ▍ Privacy & Security (Built for trust)
  - ZERO user data collection - no analytics, no telemetry, no fingerprinting
  - ALL processing happens locally in your browser; no data ever leaves your device
  - ffmpeg.wasm runs entirely client-side; no server-side encoding

  ▍ Permission Justifications
  - webRequest: detect video stream URLs by passively listening to browser network traffic (local only)
  - downloads / downloads.open: save video files to your disk and open the destination folder
  - storage: cache the sniffed list per-tab (chrome.storage.session, cleared on tab close)
  - tabs / scripting: identify the current site and inject the sniffer
  - cookies: read login cookie from *.bilibili.com to enable HD streams; never uploaded
  - declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess: adjust Referer header so cross-origin segment fetches succeed
  - host_permissions <all_urls>: required because videos can play on any site, and CDN domains differ from page domains
  (Bilibili CDN at *.bilivideo.cn, iyf at *.pipecdn.vip, etc.)
  
  ▍ Limitations
  - DRM-protected paid videos cannot be downloaded (Netflix, iQIYI VIP, etc. - by design)
  - Live-stream real-time recording is not supported
