StreamSnatch is the most thorough video detector available for Chrome. While other extensions only catch simple MP4 links, StreamSnatch runs nine simultaneous detection methods to surface every video hiding on a page — no matter how it's loaded.

── HOW IT WORKS ──
StreamSnatch doesn't rely on a single trick. It combines:
• Network interception — captures video URLs as the browser requests them
• DOM scanning — reads  and  elements directly
• Script mining — finds video URLs hidden inside JavaScript
• XHR & Fetch hooking — intercepts dynamically loaded stream URLs
• Meta & JSON-LD parsing — extracts URLs from structured page data
• MutationObserver — watches for videos added after the page loads

── HOW TO USE ──
1. Navigate to any page with a video
2. Press Play on the video (this triggers the network request)
3. Click the StreamSnatch icon in your toolbar
4. Hit "Scan Page" for a full DOM sweep
5. Click ↓ to download a single video, or "Download All" for batch
