    description
Focus Warden helps you take back control of your time online. Block distracting sites, set daily time limits, and immerse yourself in deep focus sessions — all without any accounts, servers, or data collection.

    GETTING STARTED

    1. Click the Dashboard icon to open the full settings page
    2. Go to Sites to add specific sites you want to limit
    3. Go to Groups to block entire categories like Social Media or News at once
    4. Use Deep Focus when you need a fully distraction-free work session

    IMPORTANT NOTES

    - Focus Mode (the toggle in the popup) applies your default daily limit to EVERY site you visit — not just the ones you configured. Only enable it if that is your intention. The default is 4 hours per site. Adjust via settings -> Default daily limit

    - Deep Focus blocks all sites except those on your whitelist. Before starting a session, make sure you have added any work tools you need (email, docs, etc.) to your whitelist in Settings.

    - A global cap of 20 open tabs is enforced by default. This is intentional — Focus Warden is a productivity tool. You can adjust this via settings -> Max total tabs

    FEATURES

    BLOCK DISTRACTING SITES
Add any site to your blocklist and it is immediately blocked across all open tabs. Right-click any page to block it in one step.

    GROUP BLOCKING
Organize sites into groups — Social Media, Video Streaming, News, Gaming. Block or limit an entire category with a single toggle.

    DAILY TIME LIMITS
Set a daily time allowance per site. Choose hard limits (no exceptions) or soft limits that allow a one-time snooze or a micro-learning unlock.

    DEEP FOCUS MODE
Start a timed session that blocks everything except your whitelisted sites. Ending early requires typing a custom exit phrase — enough friction to keep you honest. Default phrase is "get distracted"

    MICRO-LEARNING UNLOCKS
Earn extra time on a blocked site by completing a short learning resource you define yourself.

    USAGE DASHBOARD
See a daily breakdown of time spent per site so you know where your attention is actually going.

    PRIVACY
Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no servers, no analytics. Your data is never transmitted or shared with anyone.
