    description
RankRecon is designed to save you opening 10 tabs and manually wading through sites to try to understand the competition.

It extracts Google search results and analyses each page for 25+ data points including content metrics, link profiles, and trust signals. It builds an analysis of what patterns there are in the SERP - what sites Google is rewarding, and why.

Get all the data and analysis you need straight from the actual SERP.

Free - Runs locally - No account needed

    WHY USE RANKRECON
    - Skip the manual audit. Titles, meta descriptions, H1s, word counts, link profiles, and schema for every result in seconds.
    - See what's winning. Long-form guides or quick listings - the content pattern Google rewards for any query.
    - Spot the gaps. Topics, schema, or trust signals nobody in the top 10 is using yet.
    - Snapshot a SERP. Before it changes, or your client asks why it did.

    HOW IT WORKS
    1. Open any Google search results page.
    2. Click RankRecon to extract the organic listings. Ads, map pack, and "people also ask" are filtered out.

    4. Open the Page 1 Analysis report, or export the raw data.

    - Content Targets. Recommended word count, heading structure, and image usage based on the top performers.
    - Trust Signals. Schema markup, contact forms, video, table of contents, and other credibility factors, compared by position.
    - Differentiation Opportunities. Low-adoption features you could add to stand out from the competition.
    - Build Checklist. Auto-generated action items - a ready-to-use brief for your content.

RankRecon – Free SERP Analysis & Competitor Insights

Ten organic results, and they all look the same. Understanding what's actually ranking — the content types, the intent signals, the structural differences between pages — usually means opening every result and building that picture yourself.

RankRecon gives you a rapid first read of any Google SERP. It extracts organic results, analyses each page across 25+ data points, groups pages into content archetypes, classifies search intent, and generates a competitor analysis report. All locally in your browser, with no accounts, APIs, or data leaving your device.

    HOW IT WORKS
    1. Navigate to any Google search results page
    2. Click RankRecon to extract organic listings (filters out ads and Google features)
    3. Click "Analyse All" to extract page data and classify each result
    4. Review archetypes and intent, generate a full analysis report, or export raw data

    CONTENT ARCHETYPE DETECTION
RankRecon groups ranking pages by content pattern — long-form guides, product pages, listicles, local service pages, social media results — and identifies which archetype holds the strongest positions using weighted scoring. Instead of ten similar-looking links, you see the content structures that dominate the SERP.

    SEARCH INTENT CLASSIFICATION
Each ranking page is classified into one of five intent types:
    • Informational — guides, tutorials, explainers, how-to content
    • Commercial — comparisons, reviews, buying guides, "best of" lists
    • Transactional — product pages, pricing, checkout, booking pages
    • Navigational — brand homepages, login pages, specific site lookups
    • Local — local businesses, services with location and contact info

RankRecon also determines the overall SERP intent with a confidence score and generates a brief executive summary.

    COMPETITOR ANALYSIS REPORT (Beta)
Generates a structured analysis from your extracted data:
    • Winner Analysis — which content archetype dominates the top positions
    • Content Targets — word count, heading, and image ranges from top-performing pages
    • Trust & Conversion Signals — schema markup, forms, videos, and TOC usage by position
    • Differentiation Opportunities — content elements with low adoption across the SERP
    • Build Checklist — required, target, and optional action items based on winner patterns
    • Exports to Markdown or HTML

    DATA EXTRACTED (25+ fields)
