  Color Extraction
  Palettify scans the entire page — backgrounds, text, borders, shadows, gradients, and more — to build a comprehensive color palette. Similar colors are intelligently grouped together so you get a clean,

  Color Name Labels
  Every swatch displays its approximate color name (from a database of 90+ named colors) right on the interface. In list view, names appear below each color value. In grid view, names show in the hover
  tooltip. No more guessing if that blue is "Royal Blue" or "Cornflower."

  WCAG Contrast Checker
  Test any two colors from your extracted palette for accessibility compliance. The contrast checker shows:
  • The exact contrast ratio (e.g., 4.53:1)
  • A visual ratio bar
  • A live text preview with your chosen foreground and background
  • Pass/fail results for all four WCAG criteria: AA Normal, AA Large, AAA Normal, and AAA Large

  Simply click the foreground and background slots, then pick colors from the mini palette. Results update instantly.

  Color Harmony Generator
  Select any color from your palette and instantly see five types of color harmonies:
  • Complementary — The opposite color on the color wheel
  • Analogous — Two neighboring colors for subtle, cohesive schemes
  • Triadic — Three evenly spaced colors for vibrant, balanced palettes
  • Split Complementary — A softer alternative to complementary with two adjacent colors

  Every harmony swatch is clickable to copy its HEX value.

  Palette History
  Save extracted palettes for later. Every saved palette records the website URL, page title, date, and a preview of the colors. Load any saved palette to revisit it, or delete palettes you no longer need.
  Your history is stored locally and persists across browser sessions. Save up to 50 palettes.

  2. In the upgrade window, click "Get License Key"
  3. Complete your one-time purchase on our secure payment page
  4. You'll receive a unique license key
  5. Paste your key into Palettify and click Activate
  6. All Pro features unlock instantly

  Your license is stored locally, so Pro works even when you're offline. You can deactivate and reactivate your key at any time from the settings panel.

  Palettify requests only the minimum permissions required:
  • activeTab — To access the current page and extract its colors (only when you click the extension)
  • scripting — To run the color extraction script on the page
  • storage — To save your Pro license status and palette history locally

  Palettify does NOT:
  • Collect or transmit any personal data
  • Track your browsing activity
  • Access any page you haven't explicitly opened the extension on
  • Send your color data to any server
  • Require an account or login

  All data stays on your device. The only network request Palettify makes is a one-time license key verification when you activate Pro.
