  Q: Does this work with SMS / text message OTPs?
  A: No. OTP Smart Fill exclusively monitors your Gmail inbox for email-based OTPs. It does not intercept phone SMS messages. This is a deliberate privacy decision — accessing SMS would require phone-level permissions we don't want.
  
  Q: Which Gmail account does it use?
  A: The Google account you are signed into Chrome with. Currently supports one account at a time.
  
  Q: Is this safe to use with my work Google account?
  A: Yes. The extension only requests read-only Gmail access via your organization's standard 
  
  Q: What happens if I have multiple tabs open?
  A: The OTP is auto-filled only into your currently active tab. All other tabs receive a clickable notification that lets you manually trigger the fill.
  
  Q: Does it slow down my browser?
  A: No. The polling logic runs in a background service worker with optimized, non-blocking DOM search. It has zero impact on page rendering or JavaScript execution.
