Forge for Immich is a companion Chrome extension that seamlessly integrates advanced AI image processing into your Immich Web UI. With just a few clicks, you can breathe new life into old, blurry, or pixelated photos, and save the enhanced versions directly back to your server.

⚠️ Prerequisites & Setup Required
Because this extension processes AI models locally, it requires a self-hosted backend setup. To use Forge for Immich, you must be running both:

Immich Server: Your existing self-hosted Immich instance.

Immich Forge Container: The companion AI processing engine.

How to Use
Install this extension.

Enter your Immich Forge backend URL and API Key in the extension options.

Open any photo in your Immich web library.

Use the Forge overlay panel to choose your AI action (Upscale, Face Restore, or Colorize).

Preview the result and save it directly back to your library stack!
