  watchext lets you watch Kocowa+ content together with friends in real-time, no matter where you are.
  
  Create a temporary room from the extension popup, share the 6-character code with your friends, and everyone's video will stay in sync — play, pause, seek, it all stays together.
  
  How it works:
  • Open a Kocowa+ video
  • Click the watchext icon and create a room
  • Share the room code with friends
  • Friends join with the code
  • Playback syncs automatically
  
  You need your own WebSocket sync server (included — see the GitHub repo). The extension connects to a server you control; no third party is involved.
  
  Permissions explained:
  • activeTab — detects the current Kocowa+ tab so the extension can read and control the video player
  • scripting — injects the synchronization code into Kocowa+ video pages
  • storage — saves your server URL and participant ID locally
  • Host access to *.kocowa.com — required to inject and run the sync scripts on Kocowa+
  • Host access to localhost/127.0.0.1 — for development and testing with the included mock page
  
  The extension does not bypass DRM, download content, or access any data outside of what is needed for playback synchronization.
