About

TogglePlay helps you avoid multiple audio sources playing at once by automatically syncing play/pause between two selected media tabs.

How it works:
- Pick a tab 1 (your current tab) and a tab 2 from the extension popup.
- After pairing, either tab can control the other:
  - When one tab starts playing, TogglePlay pauses the paired tab.
  - When one tab pauses, TogglePlay starts the paired tab playing.
- Only one pair is active at a time (choosing a new Secondary replaces the current pair).

Supported sites:
- YouTube (youtube.com)
- YouTube Music (music.youtube.com)
- Spotify Web Player (open.spotify.com)

Shortcut:
- Press “B” (when you’re not typing in an input) to pause both paired tabs.

Privacy:
- Runs locally in your browser. No sign-in, no analytics, and no data is sent to any external server.

TogglePlay is not affiliated with YouTube or Spotify.
