Select a word, phrase, or sentence and WordBridge uses your own OpenAI-compatible API to explain or translate it according to your language settings. Features: - Translate selected text between major languages - Show IPA, example sentences, synonyms, and antonyms - Analyze sentence structure for longer selections - Read words and translations aloud using browser speech - Customize trigger method and popup closing behavior - Cache repeated lookups locally for 10 minutes - Bring your own OpenAI-compatible API endpoint, key, and model WordBridge does not collect browsing history, show ads, or track users. Selected text is sent only to the API endpoint configured by the user when a lookup is triggered.
