MemoryVault is a local-first Chrome extension that quietly builds a private, searchable memory of every page you read — without sending your browsing history to a cloud database.

🔒 100% Local by default
Page text, embeddings, and the full-text search index live in your own browser's OPFS storage. We can't see them. Even on the paid plan, only the specific snippet you query is sent to our AI gateway — never your full reading history.

⚡ Semantic search by meaning, not just keywords
"That Python thing I read about WebSockets" finds the right page even if you misremember the title.

🧠 AI answers grounded in YOUR reading
Ask "what was that tip about email signups?" and get an answer based only on pages you've actually read, with source citations to the originals.

🛡️ Per-domain control
Pause or delete memory for any site with one click. Sensitive domains (banking, email) are auto-skipped by default. Your incognito tabs are ignored.
