Getting Started:
1. After installing, right-click the extension icon in your toolbar and select "Options".
2. Enter the full URL of your Linkding instance (e.g., https://bookmarks.example.com).
3. Create an API token in your Linkding instance under Settings → Integrations and paste it into the API Token field.
4. Click "Save and Connect". Once you see the success message, you're ready to go!

Privacy:
Your privacy is paramount. This extension communicates directly and only with the Linkding instance URL you provide in the settings. Your bookmarks, API token, and other data are never sent to any third-party servers. All data is stored locally on your computer or synced securely between your browsers using your Chrome account.
