VeraWave is a voice-to-text tool that types at the speed of thought. Press a hotkey, speak naturally, and your words appear where your cursor is — already cleaned of "ums," filler, and false starts. The average person types 40 words per minute and speaks 160. VeraWave bridges the gap.

WORKS WHEREVER YOU TYPE

VeraWave works in any web-based text field — email, documents, 
chat, social platforms, content management systems, code editors, 
and AI tools. The extension detects the focused text field and 
inserts your dictated, polished text where your cursor is.

A small pill at the bottom of your screen confirms VeraWave is listening, with a live audio waveform. Press Escape or click X to cancel anytime.

POLISHED, NOT TRANSCRIBED

Most voice tools just transcribe what you say. VeraWave cleans it up. Filler words, false starts, and "ums" disappear. What lands in the field reads like you wrote it carefully.

Three writing styles, pick how the AI cleans your dictation:

Code — preserves technical terms, camelCase, and framework names exactly

MORE THAN DICTATION

Four languages, native quality. English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French — including Quebec French, validated by native speakers. Auto-detected from your voice or browser locale.

Custom dictionary. Add the names, jargon, and brand terms you use often. Tell VeraWave how to spell or pronounce them once, and it remembers.

Voice snippets. Set up trigger phrases that expand into longer text. Say "my email signature" and your full signature drops in.

BUILT FOR WORK

Most voice dictation tools require a desktop install, which gets blocked at most schools and workplaces. VeraWave runs in Chrome with no admin password required. It installs from the Chrome Web Store, works under managed Chrome policies, and updates automatically.

PRIVACY
