About
Namue translates Thai company names to English (and vice versa) using Thailand's official Department of Business Development registry (DBD DataWarehouse+). WHAT IT DOES • Type a company name in Thai or English, or a 13-digit tax ID. • Get the official bilingual match: registered name, juristic ID, province, registration year. • Open any record for the full registration: directors, address with Google Maps link, registration date, business objectives. • Switch the interface between English and Thai at any time. WHO IT'S FOR • Foreign investors, lawyers, accountants, and translators working with Thai entities. • Researchers and journalists cross-checking corporate records. • Anyone who needs the exact official English spelling of a Thai company (or the Thai spelling of an English one) — the kind of detail where guessing causes signed-document corrections later. HOW IT WORKS Namue is a thin first-party client for the public DBD DataWarehouse+ API. When you search, your browser sends an HTTPS request directly to DBD; the response is decrypted and displayed locally inside the extension. We do not operate any backend that sees your queries. PRIVACY • No analytics. No telemetry. No tracking. • Queries go from your browser to DBD and nowhere else. • Stored locally: your DBD session token (so you don't re-authenticate on every query) and your UI language preference. Both are cleared when you uninstall. • Full privacy notice: https://www.namue.com/privacy.html DATA SOURCE DBD DataWarehouse+ is operated by Thailand's Department of Business Development. It is the canonical Thai company registry. OPEN INTEGRATION Namue exposes a typed RPC over Chrome's externally_connectable channel so your own webapp can use it as a bilingual-name oracle without scraping or running a backend. Allowed origins are listed in the manifest. Documentation: https://www.namue.com
