📁 Multi-Workspace Organisation
Create unlimited named workspaces for every context in your life — Work, Personal, Research, Dev Projects. Each workspace has its own independent bookmark board and kanban board. Switch between them in one click from the persistent sidebar. Your work tools stay completely separate from your shopping links.

🔖 Visual Bookmark Manager
Stop hunting through a flat bookmark list. Organise your links into named groups within each workspace — AI Tools, News, Finance, whatever fits your workflow. Each link shows its favicon, title, and domain at a glance. Drag groups and links to reorder them. Move links between groups. Save the current tab as a bookmark in one click from the toolbar icon — no typing the URL, no copy-paste.

📋 Personal Kanban Board
Replace Trello for personal task management. Each workspace has its own kanban board with fully customisable columns — add, rename, reorder, or delete them. Create task cards with titles, descriptions, priority levels, due dates, and tags. Drag cards between columns and reorder within a column. Archive completed cards. Create multiple boards per workspace to keep concerns separate.

🔴 Due Date Badges
Never miss a deadline hiding in a workspace you haven't checked today. Workspace icons show a red badge for overdue cards and a yellow badge for cards due within 7 days — always visible in the sidebar, regardless of which workspace you're currently viewing. One glance tells you where attention is needed.

⚡ Quick Card Completion
Mark a card as done directly from the board without opening the detail view. One click moves it to your Done column and clears it from the badge count. Or clear a due date in one click directly from the card — no modal, no form, just done.

🔍 Instant Search
Find any bookmark or task instantly. The search bar filters links and cards in real time across all groups and columns in the active workspace. Press / to focus, Escape to clear.

🗂️ Open Tabs Panel
See all your currently open browser tabs in a panel alongside your workspace. Click any tab to switch to it instantly. Add any open tab as a bookmark with one click — no copying URLs, no switching windows.

💾 Full Data Portability
Export everything to a single JSON file at any time — all workspaces, bookmarks, boards, and cards in one readable file. Import to restore after reinstalling, switching machines, or as a manual backup. Choose Merge (add to existing data) or Replace (start fresh). Your data is yours — readable, portable, and never locked in.

🕐 Local Date and Time
The current date and time is always visible in the top bar, formatted for your locale. No network request, no third-party widget — just your browser's clock.

FolioTab stores everything in your browser's local IndexedDB. Nothing is ever transmitted to any server. No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reporting. No advertising. No tracking of any kind.

The extension declares three Chrome permissions:

· storage — saves your settings (theme, sidebar state) locally across sessions
· tabs — reads open tab titles and URLs for the toolbar popup and open tabs panel
· activeTab — accesses the current tab when you open the toolbar popup

That is all. Your bookmarks, tasks, and workspaces never leave your device.

FolioTab was built as a public demonstration project for DevCortex (devcortexai.com) — a requirements and verification layer for AI-assisted software development.

Every feature was formally specified with acceptance criteria before a single line of code was written. Claude Code built the extension guided by the DevCortex MCP server, and every acceptance criterion was formally verified and recorded in a trace matrix. The result is software you can trust.
