1. Install Ritmo from the Chrome Web Store
2. Pin the extension to your browser toolbar
3. Open a tab with audio playback
4. Click Record in the Ritmo popup

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

Ritmo only requests permissions required to operate the browser audio capture engine.

ActiveTab: Allows recordings to automatically use the page title as the file name.
TabCapture: Enables recording of the active browser tab audio stream.
Offscreen: Keeps recordings running even if the popup window is closed.
Storage: Saves user settings and recording history locally in your browser.
Host Permissions (All URLs): Allows Ritmo to capture audio from any website that produces sound.

RITMO 2.0 — COMPLETE OVERHAUL

Ritmo has been redesigned with a rebuilt analysis engine, faster BPM detection, and brand new key detection. Version 2.0 introduces a redesigned interface, real-time audio FX, enhanced recording library management with search, filters, tags, and sorting, and a new musical verification tool: the Virtual Piano. Existing tools such as the BPM Tapper and Metronome have also been improved. Recording is now free to start, with optional premium upgrades for advanced workflows.
