About

Take a shot, open an editor, crop, save, attach — way too many steps for what should be a two-second thing.

SnapZone lets you grab any element or the full page you're looking at, and get it where you need it right away. Clipboard, Imgur, email, your editor — pick your flow.

Two ways to capture

Element mode — Hover over anything (a button, a card, an image, a code block) and it lights up. Left click to capture and copy in one go. Right click to capture and pick what to do next. You can also Ctrl+Scroll up and down to move between parent and child elements — useful when you want the whole section, not just one piece.

Visible page mode — Click anywhere and SnapZone grabs exactly what's on your screen.

After the shot

The context menu gives you four options:

Copy to clipboard
Upload to Imgur (link gets copied automatically)
Save and open with your default image editor
Send by email
If you left-click, it skips the menu and copies directly. One move, done.

Borders? Sure.

If you want your captures to look a bit nicer, you can add a border. Adjust the width, color, rounded corners, and padding however you like. The padding area picks up the dominant color from your image edges so it doesn't look pasted on. You can toggle borders for element mode, visible mode, or both. There's a live preview in the settings so you see it before you shoot.

Why you might want this

It's quick. Click, done. No extra windows, no save dialogs.
It just works. Built on Chrome's native screenshot API, so no CORS headaches, no blank captures on cross-origin images.
It's small. No frameworks, no build tools, no sign-up.
It doesn't track you. Everything runs locally. Zero analytics, zero data collection. The only time anything leaves your browser is when you choose to upload to Imgur.
Supports English and Spanish. It picks your browser language automatically.

About Imgur uploads

You'll need a free Client-ID from api.imgur.com/oauth2/addclient. Drop it in the settings and you're set. Everything else works without it.
