About

BrowserWorker lets you connect your own Chrome browser to the BrowserWorker platform and run browser automation tasks remotely through a simple API. Instead of relying on headless cloud browsers, your tasks run in a real, signed-in browser session—giving you reliable, human-like automation for testing, data collection, and repetitive web workflows.

How it works

Create an account at my.browserworker.app and generate your worker key.
Install this extension and paste your worker key to register the browser as a worker.
Send API requests to the BrowserWorker server, and your browser executes the actions and returns results in real time.
What you can automate

Click, hover, and type into page elements
Fill and submit forms
Select dropdown options, check/uncheck boxes
Scroll pages and wait for elements or network activity
Extract text, HTML, attributes, and values from pages
Upload files and capture screenshots (viewport, full-page, or element)
Manage cookies and navigate between tabs
Run conditional logic and loops across multiple elements
Key features

Real-time task execution through a secure realtime connection
Reliable element targeting with CSS selectors and XPath, including inside iframes
Live activity log via the side panel so you can see exactly what runs
Sequential, ordered action execution with per-action error handling
Connect or disconnect your worker any time from the popup
Who it's for
Developers, QA engineers, and teams who need dependable, API-driven browser automation running in a real browser environment.

Note: This extension is a companion worker for the BrowserWorker platform and requires a BrowserWorker account and worker key to function.
