The Molly Moccasins book series, games and activities were inspired by a parent whose first dictionary was inscribed with, “A curious mind is never bored.” That statement led to a lifelong love of learning and the creation of this series to help nurture the natural curiosity in children around the world. When children are curious, they ask questions and research shows (Hidi & Renninger, 2006) that by encouraging these “curiosity questions,” we can help keep them interested in learning. In fact, deep, meaningful and lifelong learning all starts with the simple questions of, “I wonder why…” or “What happens if…”

Molly Moccasins shows children the joy of being curious and asking questions. Molly is constantly surprised and excited by the simple discoveries each day places in her path. With her toes tingling in her magical moccasins, she steps into the amusing adventures that arise from everyday experiences and awaken her sense of wonder and imagination.
