About

Timestamp for ChatGPT adds a local date and time marker to the beginning of each message you send in ChatGPT.

Example:

[15:45 26.07.2026] Your message text

The extension works only on ChatGPT pages. It uses your browser/system local time, supports sending with Enter or the send button, and keeps Shift+Enter available for line breaks.

A compact dark popup lets you turn automatic insertion on or off. Your toggle preference is stored in Chrome sync storage so the extension remembers your choice.
