AI Personal Stylist is your in-browser fashion advisor. When you open a clothing or accessory product page on a supported retailer, a "Stylist" button appears in the corner. Click it and a slide-in panel uses your chosen AI provider to give honest, practical guidance: Buy / Maybe / Skip verdict, a 1-10 score, fit notes, style match against your stated preferences, three outfit ideas built from staples you already own, color tips, occasions the piece works for, and red flags worth knowing.

You bring your own API key (BYOK). The extension supports five AI providers — OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud, and OpenRouter — and pulls the live list of available models directly from each provider every time you click Load Models. That means newly released models show up automatically and deprecated ones drop off without any extension update required. Where the provider offers a model description in their API (Gemini, OpenRouter) it is shown verbatim; otherwise a short heuristic tip is generated and labeled as "Inferred" so you always know what you're picking.

Why use it?
• Avoid bad purchases. Shopping online makes it easy to buy things that look great on the model and wrong on you. Get a quick gut-check from an AI that actually looked at the photo.
• Build outfits around what you own. Add a few staples to the wardrobe panel and the AI will suggest outfit combinations using your existing pieces — not just the product you're viewing.
• Stay in control. Your API key, your settings, your wardrobe, and your style profile live only on your device. We never see them. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no server you have to trust.

Works on a wide range of fashion retail sites. The extension includes dedicated scrapers for major online clothing and accessory stores, plus a standard product metadata fallback that handles most other fashion sites automatically — no configuration needed.

How it works:
1. Install the extension and open Settings.
2. Pick a provider, paste your own API key, click Test Key, then Load Models, pick a vision-capable model (the picker sorts those to the top with a eye icon), and Save.
3. Optionally fill in a style profile (sizes, body type, color preferences, budget) and add wardrobe items.
4. Browse a product page. Click the floating Stylist button. Type an occasion. Click Analyze.

Free tier includes 5 AI analyses per day per device. The provider's own usage costs apply (most providers charge fractions of a cent per analysis).

Privacy at a glance:
• The extension never uploads photos of you. Only the product page's own image is sent to the AI.
• Your API key, style profile, and wardrobe live in chrome.storage.local on your device.
• Calls to AI providers happen browser-to-provider, never via our servers.
• No analytics, no tracking, no third-party scripts.
