About
Stop copy-pasting Jira ticket titles into the TimeTac Note field. Jira → TimeTac Ticket Filler pulls every ticket that matches your JQL into a local cache, then automatically fills the TimeTac Note field the moment you pick a ticket — or type/paste a ticket key into the TimeTac ticket field. ★ HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the extension options and enter your Jira domain, email and API token (create one at id.atlassian.com). 2. Optionally scope the sync to specific projects, and/or add a JQL clause (e.g. "assignee = currentUser() AND statusCategory != Done"). 3. Click "Sync Jira tickets" from the popup. The extension paginates through every matching issue using Jira's enhanced search API and stores the key + summary locally. 4. Open TimeTac, start a booking, pick a ticket — the Note field fills itself in. The ticket field also gets a type-ahead dropdown of all your tickets, sorted naturally (PROJ-2 before PROJ-10). ★ FEATURES • Full pagination via Jira's new /search/jql enhanced search API (nextPageToken) — no truncation on large projects. • Optional JQL filter and project scope. • Auto-complete datalist on the TimeTac ticket input. • Works on the Note, Notiz, Bemerkung, Beschreibung, and Description labels (German + English TimeTac). • Tickets are stored locally only — no third-party server. ★ PRIVACY The extension communicates exclusively with the Jira domain you configure. No telemetry, no analytics, no remote servers. The Jira API token is stored in chrome.storage.sync on your own browser. ★ PERMISSIONS • storage — save settings and the ticket cache locally. • activeTab — used to inject the note-filler on TimeTac. • https://*.timetac.com/* — content script that wires up ticket fields and fills the Note field. • Optional host permission for your Jira domain (requested on first use, only for the origin you enter).
