Ever get a long response from Claude and only want to hear one paragraph?

Read Selection lets you highlight any portion of a Claude.ai response and hear just that section read aloud — instead of listening to the whole thing from the beginning.

How it works:


Highlight any text in a Claude response
Click Read in the floating panel — only that part plays
Hit Stop anytime, or press Alt + P
Adjust speed at any time — restarts at the new speed


Features:
→ Real-time speed control (0.5x to 2x) — change speed mid-reading
→ Voice picker — choose from all available voices on your system
→ Draggable panel — move it anywhere on screen, position is remembered
→ Slim collapsed mode — collapses to a tiny bar with just play and stop
→ Three themes — Light (matches Claude's UI), Anthropic Orange, and Charcoal
→ On/Off toggle — hide the panel completely from the toolbar when you don't need it
