  Wistia Background Playback helps keep Wistia videos playing when a browser tab, browser window, or embedded video frame loses focus.
  
  It is designed for situations where a video unintentionally pauses when you switch tabs, place another window over Chrome, or continue working while listening to a Wistia video.
  
  Key features:
  
  - Works with Wistia video embeds.
  - Built-in access is limited to Wistia domains.
  - Optional per-site activation for training portals, LMS platforms, and other websites that control Wistia playback from the surrounding page.
  - Balanced, Strict, and Aggressive playback modes.
  - Respects intentional manual pauses.
  - No analytics, telemetry, advertising, or external data transmission.
  
  How it works:
  
  Wistia Background Playback adjusts client-side page focus and visibility behaviour so that a Wistia video is less likely to pause merely because the tab or window is no longer focused.
  
  Use Balanced mode first. If a specific site still pauses playback, enable that site from the extension popup and reload the tab. Strict and Aggressive modes are available for sites with stronger focus or visibility pause handling.
  
  Important limitations:
  
  This extension does not bypass DRM, paywalls, login systems, server-side course tracking, course completion systems, or access restrictions. It only modifies client-side focus and visibility pause behaviour on pages where you already have access.
