VK Video Downloader & Dzen Saver is a powerful Chrome extension for saving videos from VK, VK Video, VKontakte, VK Clips, VK Video Live and Dzen. It detects direct media links already exposed to the page you can access, shows available quality options, and starts the download with Chrome Downloads.

Use it as a VK video downloader, VK Video saver, Dzen video downloader, Dzen Shorts downloader, VK Clips downloader and VK Live replay downloader for pages where direct downloadable files are available in the browser.

Supported sites and page types:
• VK Video / vkvideo.ru: video pages, home feed, catalog sections, recommendations and video cards.
• VK / VKontakte: videos opened from vk.com, vk.ru, vkontakte.com and vkontakte.ru, including video modal pages when direct files are available.
• VK Clips: short video pages such as /clip-... with a download button near the clip controls.
• VK Video Live: replay pages on live.vkvideo.ru/.../record/... with direct MP4 links such as full_hd.
• Dzen / dzen.ru: video/watch pages, channel video cards, feeds and related videos.
• Dzen Shorts: /shorts/... pages with a download button next to the right-side action controls.
• Multi-video pages: detects and keeps multiple found videos so you can choose the correct one from a card button or the Popup dropdown.

Quality and formats:
• Download quality buttons for 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 2160p when the page provides them.
• Highlight the highest quality, lowest quality or your selected default quality.
• Works with direct MP4/media file links that the website already gives to the page.
• HLS/DASH playlist URLs may be seen as page data, but the extension does not merge stream segments or bypass streaming protection.

Fast download interface:
• Per-card download buttons on supported VK Video and Dzen feeds.
• Hover menu with quality choices directly on the video card.
• Inline buttons on video pages when there is a suitable page area.
• Right-side style controls for VK Clips and Dzen Shorts.
• Popup view with detected videos, video title, site, detection time and all available qualities.
• Loading state after clicking a quality while Chrome prepares the download.

File organization and history:
• Uses the standard Chrome Downloads manager.
• Custom filename template: VK-Dzen/{site}/{title}-{quality}-{date}.{ext}.
• Folder support inside Downloads by using slashes in the template.
• Safe filename cleanup so slashes or invalid title characters do not accidentally become folders.
• Duplicate handling: auto number, add timestamp, ask Chrome, or overwrite.
• Optional Save As dialog.
• Local download history with status, quality, filename, source page, media URL and time.
• Download statistics: total, today, by site and by quality.
• Export history to JSON or CSV.

Settings:
• Interface language: auto, English, Русский or 中文.
• Enable or disable page buttons.
• Auto-rescan after single-page navigation on VK, VK Video and Dzen.
• Default quality preference.
• Confirm before each download.
• Save As behavior.
• History retention.
• Options page with automatic saving.

How to use:
1. Open vkvideo.ru, vk.com, vkontakte.com, live.vkvideo.ru or dzen.ru.
2. Open a video, feed, VK Clip, Dzen Short or live replay page.
3. Wait for content to load, play the video, or scroll the feed if links are not visible yet.
4. Hover the download button on a video card or open the extension Popup.
5. Choose an available quality.
6. Chrome starts the download and the extension records it locally.

Privacy and limitations:
Everything runs locally in your browser. The extension does not upload browsing history, video URLs or download history to our servers. It only helps save videos you can already access in the current browser tab. It does not bypass DRM, login, subscriptions, private content, region restrictions or platform permissions.
