About

NTSkins Companion is the official browser extension for NTSkins.com, a CS2 skin marketplace.

  ═══ WHAT IT DOES ═══

  ▸ DIRECT TRADE SEND — When you sell a skin on NTSkins, click "Send Trade"
    on the marketplace dashboard. The extension submits the Steam trade offer
    to open Steam, navigate to the buyer's profile, or copy-paste asset IDs.

  ▸ AUTOMATIC TRADE VERIFICATION — Every 3 minutes the extension checks your
    Steam trade history and reports outcomes (accepted, declined, rolled back)
    to NTSkins. Your sale balance is released automatically once the buyer
    accepts the trade.

  ▸ ZERO FRICTION P2P — Items stay in your Steam inventory until they sell.
    No bots, no custody, no 8-day Steam Guard hold detours. NTSkins never
    touches your skins or your password.

  ═══ HOW IT WORKS ═══

  1. Install the extension and pin it to your toolbar.
  2. Generate a token at ntskins.com/settings/extension.
  3. Paste it into the extension popup and save.
  4. List a skin on NTSkins. When sold, click "Send Trade" — done.

  ═══ PERMISSIONS WE USE ═══

  - storage: persist your NTSkins token locally
  - cookies: read only the steamcommunity.com sessionid to authenticate trade POSTs
  - alarms: schedule the 3-min trade status check
  - scripting: required for content script injection into Steam pages
  - declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess: set Referer header on one specific
    Steam endpoint so trade sends work

  We never read your Steam password, Mobile Authenticator codes, or browsing
  history outside Steam/NTSkins. The sessionid cookie is read locally and
