This extension automatically tracks the posts and reels you see while browsing Instagram on your desktop. No manual saving, no bookmarking — just scroll like you normally would and everything is quietly logged.

View History runs silently in the background while you browse instagram.com. It captures posts and reels as Instagram loads them, storing thumbnails, usernames, and captions so you can search and find them later.

Your view history is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone. There are no analytics, no tracking, no servers. Uninstalling the extension deletes all stored data.

✦ NOTE
This extension works on instagram.com (desktop web). It does not work with the Instagram mobile app.
