Save any VKontakte video as a regular MP4 file — in the exact quality you want, with a file name that makes sense.

WHAT IT DOES
• Detects the video on the current VK page (vk.com, vk.ru, vkvideo.ru — including videos opened from the feed and VK Clips)
• Lists every quality VK provides for that video (144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p)
• Names the file by the video's title or by its link slug (e.g. video-12345_67890)
• Optional: add the quality to the file name — "My video [720p].mp4"
• Optional: ask where to save each file
• Remembers your preferred quality and naming style

HOW TO USE
1. Open a video on VK
2. Click the extension icon
3. Pick the quality and file-name style
4. Click Download — the file lands in your normal Chrome downloads

GOOD TO KNOW
• Private videos work only if your logged-in VK account can watch them
• A few videos are published by VK as streams only (HLS/DASH) and can't be saved as a single MP4 yet — the popup tells you when that's the case
• Cyrillic and special characters in titles are handled correctly

PRIVACY
Everything runs inside your browser. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or video content to any server. It only talks to VK's own servers, using your existing session, to read the formats VK offers for the video.
