FeaturePin Inspector lets product managers anchor in-app nudges and announcements to specific UI elements — without writing a line of code. HOW IT WORKS 1. Activate the Inspector from the toolbar popup. 2. Click any element in your product (button, nav item, section header). 3. The extension captures a stable CSS selector and opens your FeaturePin dashboard with it pre-filled. 4. Write your nudge, set the rule, and launch. That's it. No developer needed. WHAT IT DETECTS The extension also checks whether the FeaturePin SDK snippet is installed on the current page, so you know at a glance if tracking is active. REQUIREMENTS A FeaturePin account (free plan available at featurepin.com). The SDK snippet must be installed on your product for nudges to be shown to end users. PERMISSIONS - activeTab + scripting: to highlight and inspect elements on the current page. - tabs: to open the FeaturePin dashboard with the captured selector. No data is sent to external servers. No browsing history is collected. The extension only activates when you click "Activate Inspector".
FeaturePin helps SaaS teams create in-app nudges without touching code. Use the Chrome extension to inspect any page in your product, click the exact element you want, and send that selector directly to FeaturePin to create a tooltip or nudge. What you can do: - Select UI elements visually, no manual selector hunting - Send the selected element straight into FeaturePin - Create nudges faster during setup and QA - Confirm whether the FeaturePin SDK is detected on the page How it works: 1. Open your product in Chrome 2. Activate the FeaturePin inspector 3. Click the element you want to target 4. Finish creating the nudge in FeaturePin Best for: - Product managers - Founders - SaaS teams improving feature adoption FeaturePin account required: https://app.featurepin.com
