    description
QuickConvert is an image converter that runs in your browser toolbar. Image processing happens on your device using the browser's Canvas and bundled WebAssembly codecs.

    ---

    ### How it works

    1. Right-click any image on any webpage and choose "Convert with QuickConvert", or
    2. Drop files onto the popup, or click "Browse files"
    3. Pick a format, adjust quality, and click "Convert & Download".

Batch mode converts multiple images at once and can download them as a single ZIP.

    ---

    ### Supported formats

QuickConvert reads JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, and ICO files. You can convert to any of those formats plus PDF and SVG pass-through. HEIC/HEIF input and PDF output are available on the Lifetime tier.

AVIF encoding uses a bundled WebAssembly codec for full on-device support.

    ---

    ### Where data goes

Image bytes are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. The extension makes two disclosed network requests:

    1. A one-time download of an AI model file from staticimgly.com, used only if you enable background removal. The model is cached locally after first use.
    2. A license check request to quickconvert-license.quickconvert.workers.dev, which sends only the email address you enter in Options to verify a Lifetime license. Not used on the Free tier.

No image data, analytics, or tracking is sent to any server.

    ---

    ### Features

    - Right-click context menu to convert any image on a page
    - Drag-and-drop popup with multi-file support
    - Batch conversion with optional ZIP download (Lifetime)
    - Quality slider for JPG, WebP, and AVIF
    - Image editor for crop, resize, and before/after format preview
    - Background removal using an on-device AI model (Lifetime) or a fast threshold method
    - Side panel mode
    - Dark and light themes
    - Full keyboard navigation

    ---

    ### Free and Lifetime tiers

QuickConvert is free to install and use for unlimited single-image conversions in common formats. The Lifetime tier is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks HEIC input, AI background removal, PDF output, larger batches, and ZIP downloads.
