About

Avoce translates the audio of the tab you're on, in real time, and overlays bilingual captions directly on the page you're watching.

■ Great for
- YouTube and online courses with no captions, or only original-language captions
- Meetings, livestreams and presentations in another language
- Anything playing in a tab that you want to understand in real time

■ How it works
1. Click the Avoce icon on the tab you want to translate to open the side panel
2. Pick your source and target languages
3. Press "Translate this tab" — captions appear on the page

■ Two engines
- Direct: lowest latency, shows the translation only
- Two-stage: recognizes the original first, then translates, showing both original and translation

■ Languages
Two-way translation across 14 languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi.

■ Account & credits
Avoce is pay-as-you-go. Translation requires signing in at avoce.ai; the extension reuses your avoce.ai login for authentication and metering and never collects your password. Glossary and top-ups are managed at avoce.ai.

■ Privacy
Captured audio is streamed for real-time transcription/translation and is not stored long-term. The extension only captures a tab when you press Start, and does not track your browsing. See the privacy policy.
