About

vyberr Domain Investor Power HUD is a domain research console for investors who currently keep
eight browser tabs open every time they evaluate a name. Type a domain
once and get registration data, DNS, popularity rank, valuation,
comparable sales, marketplace status, reputation signals, WHOIS history,
and AI brandability — all in one panel.

No data ever leaves your device for our servers. We don't have servers.
Each provider you enable receives its calls directly from your browser,
using your own API key. Tokens are stored locally only (chrome.storage.local,
never synced), and the lookup cache is a private IndexedDB.

WORKS ON DAY ONE — NO SETUP, NO KEYS

• RDAP — registration date, registrar, expiry, status, DNSSEC,
  nameservers (via rdap.org)
• DNS over HTTPS — A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT records via Cloudflare 1.1.1.1
• TLD tier — a curated S/A/B/C/D classification across ~80 TLDs
• Tranco popularity rank — top-100K rank, auto-refreshed daily from
  tranco-list.eu (CC BY 4.0)
• urlscan.io — recent public scans and verdicts, anonymous search
• Imported comps — drop in your NameBio CSV or broker spreadsheet
once; matched against every lookup thereafter

UNLOCK WITH YOUR OWN API KEYS

Each integration is independent — use the ones you already pay for and
leave the rest disabled. Tokens are validated before they are saved.

Valuation
• HumbleWorth — AI auction / marketplace / brokerage values
(via Replicate, ~$0.0001 per lookup; free trial credits cover ~1,000)
• EstiBot — algorithmic appraisal with CPC, search volume, keyword value
• GoDaddy GoValue — appraisal with comparable sales

Comps
• NameBio — verified historical domain sales (Business membership)

Popularity
• Cloudflare Radar — live rank to top 1M, with category labels

Marketplace
• Sedo — partner API for listing status, asking price, offer count
• Dynadot — availability check and aftermarket presence

Reputation and OSINT
• VirusTotal — engine vote counts, reputation, categories (free 500/day)
• SecurityTrails — subdomain count and current DNS snapshot (free 50/mo)

WHOIS history
• WhoisXMLAPI — historical record count (cheap preview mode by default)

AI brandability
• OpenAI — LLM-scored brandability, memorability, pronounceability,
  commercial potential
• Anthropic — same dimensions scored by Claude, for a second opinion

TIER SCORING THAT EXPLAINS ITSELF

Every domain gets a composite S / A / B / C / D tier with a full
breakdown. You see exactly which signals contributed how many points:
TLD class, age, rank bucket, valuation, comp coverage, brandability,
reputation flags, subdomain footprint, WHOIS history depth. No black box.

PRIVACY

• No telemetry. No analytics. No "anonymous" data collection.
• API tokens stored in chrome.storage.local only — never synced, never
logged, never put in URLs the extension controls.
• Tokens masked in the UI after save (e.g. "r8********abcd").
• Each provider's privacy implications are stated on its setup card.
• Local-only cache: lookups, watchlist, and imported comps live in
  your browser's IndexedDB.
• Sensitive routes (login, checkout, banking) are excluded from any
  hover-card activation.

POWER USER FEATURES

• Type any domain directly in the popup — works on chrome:// pages,
  new tabs, localhost, anywhere
• Right-click any link → "Look up domain with Power HUD"
• Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+D to look up the current tab, Alt+H to
  toggle hover cards
• Watchlist with daily background re-validation
• Per-integration cache TTLs — refreshing one source doesn't overwrite
another (RDAP 7d, DoH 1h, valuation 30d, Tranco daily, brandability
  90d, and so on)
• Per-integration rate limiting and 12-second timeout — one slow
provider can never block the others, and one provider's failure can
  never poison another's cache
• CSV import for your own sales database (NameBio export, DNPric.es
purchase, broker spreadsheet — anything with domain/price/date columns)

WHO THIS IS FOR

Domain investors evaluating acquisitions. Brokers preparing portfolios
for sale. Brand strategists vetting names before purchase. SEO
professionals reviewing expired-domain candidates. Drop catchers
triaging daily lists. Anyone whose current workflow is "open 8 tabs,
copy-paste, alt-tab, repeat".

QUICK START

1. Install. Click the toolbar icon on any page.
2. Type a domain (it auto-fills from the current tab when possible).
RDAP, DNS, Tranco, TLD tier, and urlscan results appear immediately.
3. Open Settings → Integrations. Paste API tokens for the providers
you already use. Test each one before saving — invalid tokens are
   rejected, not stored.
4. Optional: in the Comps tab, import a CSV of your own historical
   sales data.

That's it. The extension stays out of your way until you ask it for
something.

TECHNICAL NOTES

• Manifest V3, strict Content Security Policy (no remote scripts,
  no eval).
• Each integration is a single self-contained module following a
documented interface — straightforward to audit or extend.
• Tranco list auto-refreshes daily via chrome.alarms (downloads
  ~1.4 MB only when tranco-list.eu publishes a new list_id).
• Service worker survives Chrome's standard kill/restart cycle without
losing state — persistent data lives in IndexedDB and
  chrome.storage.local.
