About

Mock Dream is a developer tool that intercepts fetch() and XMLHttpRequest
calls on the page you are testing and replaces the response with a payload
you defined. Build UI without waiting for the backend, reproduce edge cases
(500s, slow responses, empty arrays), and demo flows offline.

WHAT IT DOES
• Intercept fetch & XHR via rules (URL pattern + method)
• Return custom JSON, status codes, headers, latency
• Live traffic log: see every request, mocked or pass-through

• No account, no login, no cloud sync
• Does not read or transmit page content anywhere
• Works 100% locally — your rules live in chrome.storage.local

Mock Dream does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data.
All rules and traffic logs stay on your machine.

OPEN ABOUT BROAD HOST ACCESS
The extension needs <all_urls> because developers test against any
domain (localhost, staging, production debugging). It only acts on
URLs that match a rule you wrote. No background scraping.
