    description
TypeCloak types your text into Google Docs, Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle exactly the way a real person would — character by character, with natural rhythm, self-correcting typos, and a speed that drifts and varies the longer you type.

Most typing tools inject synthetic keyboard events that Google Docs ignores entirely. TypeCloak uses the Chrome Debugger Protocol to fire real, browser-trusted keystrokes — the same mechanism Chrome DevTools uses internally. It actually works.

    HOW IT WORKS

Paste your text, choose a speed, click Start. You have 3 seconds to click into your document and place your cursor. TypeCloak does the rest.

Typing happens in natural bursts — fast for a few words, then a brief pause to "think," then fast again. Every keystroke is individually timed with random variation. Occasionally a wrong key is hit, a few characters are typed, then TypeCloak catches it and backspaces to fix it — just like you would.

    FEATURES

✦ Works in Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, Canvas, and more!
✦ 5 speed presets from 25 WPM (Slow) to 120 WPM (Fast) — duration auto-calculated from your text
✦ Self-correcting typos using realistic QWERTY adjacent-key errors
✦ Sentence Intelligence — natural pauses after periods, question marks, and exclamation points
    ✦ Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+Y / Cmd+Shift+Y) and right-click context menu
✦ Focus Mode — collapses to a minimal floating progress ring while typing
✦ Resume from interruption — stop mid-session and pick up exactly where you left off

    PRO FEATURES — one-time $3

✦ Unlimited sessions and characters (free plan: 3 sessions/day, 500 chars each)
✦ Stealth Mode — adds micro-hesitations and paragraph reading pauses to defeat keystroke timing analysis
✦ Fatigue Curve — speed naturally decays over long sessions, up to 35% slower by the end
✦ Smart Error Zones — typos cluster in the middle of words, matching real human error patterns
✦ 5 saved text presets — store your most-used texts and reload in one click
✦ 5 typing profiles — save full settings configurations and switch between them instantly

    PRIVACY

TypeCloak runs entirely in your browser. No data is collected, no text is transmitted, no accounts required. The only optional network call is Gumroad license verification if you enter a Pro key.
Paste your text, pick a speed, hit Start. TypeCloak handles the rest.

    WHY IT LOOKS HUMAN
Most auto-typing tools produce robotic, evenly-spaced keystrokes that look nothing like real typing. TypeCloak uses a layered timing engine built from real typing behavior research:

    • Burst typing — characters appear in short natural runs separated by micro-pauses, just like real fingers on a keyboard
    • Sentence pauses — TypeCloak pauses after periods, question marks, and exclamation points before continuing
    • Self-correcting typos — wrong keys are typed and caught after 1–4 characters, then backspaced and retyped at correction speed
    • Fatigue curve — speed gradually slows over long sessions the way a real person would tire
    • Drift correction — sessions finish exactly on time regardless of per-keystroke variation

    FEATURES
    • 5 speed presets from Slow (25 WPM) to Fast (120 WPM)
    • Adjustable speed variability and typo rate
    • Resume from interruption — pick up exactly where you stopped
    • Focus Mode — collapses to a minimal progress ring while typing
    • Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Y (Cmd+Shift+Y on Mac)
    • Right-click any editable field to trigger from context menu
    • Refer a friend and earn free Pro days

    PRO FEATURES
    • Stealth Mode — reading pauses after paragraph breaks + micro-hesitations inside bursts
    • Fatigue Curve — exponential speed decay over session duration
    • Smart Error Zones — typo probability peaks mid-word, matching real QWERTY error patterns
    • Text Presets — save up to 5 texts and reload instantly
    • Typing Profiles — save speed, variability, and toggle settings as named profiles

WHY CDP — NOT JUST JAVASCRIPT
Google Docs and most LMS platforms ignore synthetic keyboard events fired by extensions because they check event.isTrusted. TypeCloak uses Chrome's Debugger Protocol to fire browser-trusted keystrokes — the same mechanism Chrome DevTools uses internally. This is why it actually works in Google Docs when other tools don't.

Note: while TypeCloak is running, Chrome shows a "Chrome is being debugged" banner at the top of the page. This is a standard Chrome security feature and disappears the moment typing finishes or is stopped.

    PRIVACY
TypeCloak runs entirely in your browser. The only outbound request is an optional Gumroad license check when you enter a license key. Your text is never transmitted anywhere.
