About

Conventional Comments adds a button to the formatting toolbar in GitHub PR review comment boxes. Click the comment-with-smiley button → pick a label (praise, suggestion, nitpick, issue, etc.) → optionally choose a decoration (non-blocking, blocking, if-minor) → and the prefix is automatically inserted at your cursor.

Instead of typing `suggestion (blocking): ` by hand, just click the toolbar button, navigate the menu, and the prefix is inserted for you. Then finish typing your subject and discussion.

Works in all GitHub PR comment textareas — review comments, file-level comments, and inline line-comment boxes.

The menu matches GitHub's native ActionList styling and supports keyboard dismissal (Escape) and click-outside-to-close.
