About

BiasLens analyzes news articles for political bias and sentiment directly in your browser using a machine learning model trained on thousands of
labeled sentences. No article text is ever sent to a server — all processing happens on your device.

  HOW IT WORKS
Open any news article and click the BiasLens icon. The extension scores each paragraph for bias (0–100) and calculates the overall sentiment
direction of the piece based on the nouns, adjectives, and verbs used.

  FEATURES
  • Bias Score — machine learning model gives each paragraph a 0–100 bias rating
  • Live Highlights — color-coded paragraph highlights show bias intensity at a glance
  • Deep Analysis — see overall sentiment direction and which phrases drive the score
  • Auto-Highlight — automatically highlights bias when you visit supported news sites
  • Site Settings — choose which sites auto-highlighting activates on

  PRIVACY
BiasLens collects no personal data. The ML model runs entirely within your browser. The only data stored locally is your auto-highlight preference
and your list of allowed sites — both stay on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.

Works on major English-language news sites. Auto-highlight can be enabled for any site you choose.
