About

Have you ever needed to save an important Gmail message as a PDF, only to wrestle with print dialogs and broken formatting? Or wanted a clean copy of an email in HTML, plain text, or JSON, without copying and pasting line by line?

Or maybe bulk download multiple emails you have in your Gmail account?

Now you can!

WHAT IT DOES
Gmail to PDF: Save Emails as PDF, HTML, TXT adds a download button right inside Gmail. Select the emails you want, pick a format, and save them to your computer in one step.

You can export as PDF, HTML, TXT, or JSON. PDF gives you a rendered copy of the message. HTML opens in any browser as a self-contained file. TXT is plain text, easy to search and paste. JSON gives you structured data with headers, body content, and attachment metadata.

You can export one email or several at once. Attachments and inline images can be bundled into ZIP files as well, if you enable that in Settings.

Everything runs inside Gmail. No external uploads, no separate website to log into.

It only runs on mail.google.com, so it stays out of the way everywhere else.

WHO IS THIS FOR
Anyone who uses Gmail regularly and needs to save emails as files: for records, sharing, backup, or moving content into other tools. Especially useful if you work with clients, legal correspondence, receipts, or project threads and want a reliable export without the hassle of printing or manual copy-paste.

HOW DOES IT WORK

1. Install the extension and open Gmail.
2. Check the emails you want to save (one or several - you can click on the checkboxes to export multiple).
3. Click the download button in the Gmail toolbar, or open the extension popup and choose your format.
4. The file saves to your computer. Optional: enable attachment or image ZIP downloads from Settings.
5. Open the History tab to see your last 100 exports.

IS IT FREE?
100%. No trial, no paywall, no premium tier.

IS IT SECURE?
Absolutely! Your settings and export history are stored locally in your browser. The extension only activates on mail.google.com, and only processes the emails you explicitly select and export. Nothing is sent to an external server. No ads, no selling your data, no third-party tracking.
